Snowfall warning for parts of north & central Alberta An Environment Canada snowfall warning is in effect for parts of north and central Alberta. Heavy snowfall will continue tonight with total amounts of 10 to 20 centimeters. Some areas west of Edmonton may see higher snowfall amounts of up to 25 centimeters. Wind gusts near 60 km/h, particularly near Edmonton and east to the Saskatchewan border, are causing periods of localized blowing and drifting snow. Snow will taper off through the day on Monday. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult on highways. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
